Islamorada
fishing Report from Captain Kevin Brown aboard the charter boat Gold Reserve.
Today
we headed out. Flat calm seas. We made a pass by the Islamorada hump and Caught
some sushi :) Then Are first encounter was a 4 banger of big gaffers. We throe
live bait on them hooked 2 cows and a 30 lb bull dolphin. On 20lb spin and the 4th fish would not eat.
Anyways we gaffed the 2 cows and then the bull went throe the 50 lb leader :(
after that it was slow. On are way back in we got bit off by a big wahoo :(
then we found a big tree and landed 8 schoolies there were more there but with
the full moon none of the fish were eating well. Was a nice day with nice
people. The gold reserve is back out doing 2 evening trips tonight for tarpon and
sharks
Thank
you
